White Sands national monument

Just a short 45 minutes from The Waterfall Lodge, the White Sands National Monument and its glistening white dunes are one of the world's great wonders. At 275 square miles, the WSNM is the worlds largest gypsum dune field. Pack yourself a picnic, grab your sleds and some sunscreen and head over to this absolute must see when visiting us!

Inn of the mountain gods casino

If your looking to take a break from the quiet forest and make some noise while winning big, Inn Of The Mountain Gods is the place to be! This buzzy casino offers slot machines, table games and a poker room, as well as a comedy club and live entertainment. Food, Fun and games a short 45 minute drive from The Waterfall Lodge... can you say "Cha-Ching"!?

alameda park zoo

Founded in 1898, the Alameda Park Zoo is located in Alamogordo, New Mexico and is the oldest zoo in the southwestern United States. This Little gem (roughly 12 acres small) is home to over 200 exotic and indigenous animals that will be sure to keep visitors mezmerized. Perfect place for an afternoon family picnic!

Located in Lincoln County, New Mexico, Ski Apache is the country's southernmost ski area. The Slopes offer a mix of wide beginner slopes, tough bump runs, a huge bowl, nice cruising runs and a terrain park with jumps, tubes and rails. If your visiting us during our colder seasons, Ski apache is a must!

The Historic Old Apple Barn was built in 1941 in mountain Park, New Mexico. Today you can take a walk back in time and experience their Vintage Emporium, Fudge factory and Bistro. A great place to stop on your way to or from The Waterfall Lodge!
